I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at dunnhumby (London, England) in Aug 2018
Interview
Applied online and was screened on the phone by HR. I was then invited to meet a very senior manager.
He skimmed through my CV in the meeting and asked vague and generic questions.
There were no competency based questions, no examples of past projects and achievements, nothing.
When I steered the conversation in that direction (I mean the whole point is to showcase what I've done in the past and can do for his department), he repeatedly interrupted me to ask more irrelevant questions.
When I started talking about industry best practices, methodologies etc (which he admitted he hasn't heard of before), his interested peaked and he was scribbling fast. I felt like I should have charged a consultancy fee after the interview.
