Interview
The first was the puzzle round.aptitude questions were asked. You need not perform difficult calculations ,its all about how you think .for electronics based departments(ece,eee,eie) the next round is hardware questions its of mcq type these two rounds are complusory.for cs,it students software rounds of mcq type is their second round .later they will anounce the results of puzzle round if u r selected u will ne allowed to attend software mcq round(if u r non it ,cs ). After this again people will be shortlisted if u r shortlisted for the next round u will technical interview (the questions will be based on whether u r shortlisted for hardware or software) if u r shortlisted in both category u will be given choice to select any one .finally in our college puzzle round was conducted but not sure whether its the same everywhere. If u want to get into hardware then u must have a very good knowledge in ur core subjects.

I did not get into technical round but One question i heard frm my frnd is that hr asked why do we use AND gate ,answer is it is used for masking. Hardware round is very difficult u need to revise control systems ,lic etc core subjects.but software round is bit ok questions are mostly based on pointers

First round was an telephonic interview. Questions about the projects that I have worked on.Then face 2 face interview , on which you will be tested on the basics very much and the way which you listen and respond.
