I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at eBay (Santa Clara, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
Took a very long time to get through the process from initial recruiter contact to close of process, long periods with no contact from them. Eventually went with a different offer prior to them coming back to me to tell me they were going with a different candidate.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at eBay (New Delhi) in Feb 2026
Interview
Very bad experience. Interviewers should be considerate and have courtesy. Which they totally lack. Very disappointed. Junior level folks taking Interview for Manager level. Seems like the team process does not have a proper outline. Still a backend team in FP&A with no business exposure.
4 rounds
1 round of phone screening + 1 round of sql coding + 3 rounds of behavioral questions and culture fit checks
interviewers are all pretty nice, no pressure tests
