"Olivia" the chatbot messaged me to schedule a phone screen. The recruiter called on the wrong day and knew basically nothing about the role. I was scheduled for 3 interviews during which I learned that the role in question was dramatically different than the job description I applied to. I was qualified for the job in the description. Not the actual job. I spoke to "the team" who had really no idea what the role entailed, a program manager who seemed distracted, and the most buzzwordy product manager I have ever encountered in my 15 year tech career who tole me that they have no interaction with the role whatsoever. So why are we talking? A complete waste of everyone's time.
