I applied in-person. I interviewed at eClerx (Pune) in Aug 2025
Interview
My interview process at eClerx consisted of four rounds. The first round was a Group Discussion (GD) where we were assessed on communication skills, clarity of thought, and team participation. After clearing the GD, I moved to the second round, which was an HR interview focusing on my background, career goals, and suitability for the company culture. The third round was an Aptitude Test that evaluated logical reasoning, quantitative ability, and basic English comprehension. Finally, the fourth and most crucial round was the Technical Interview, where I was asked about finance concepts, journal entries, accruals, and basic accounting knowledge. Overall, the process was structured to assess both technical expertise and soft skills effectively.

Question 1
Group Discussion – eClerx Interview
In the first round of the eClerx interview process, we had a Group Discussion. The topic given was:
“Work From Office vs Work From Home – Which is Better?”
There were around 8–10 participants in the group. Everyone was given a chance to speak, and we were judged on our communication skills, clarity of thoughts, ability to listen to others, and how well we presented our points. I shared a balanced view by highlighting the benefits of both modes — how work from home offers flexibility and saves travel time, while work from office promotes collaboration, team bonding, and better productivity in some cases. I made sure to speak confidently, support my points with real-life examples, and also encouraged others to share their views.
The GD lasted for about 10–15 minutes, and overall, it was a good experience where both speaking and listening skills were equally important.
