1st test was aptitude test, 2nd was functional and 3rd is a face to face interview with hiring manager and CEO. I didn't have good experience during the face to face interview. The hiring manager was kind of rude and stopped asking questions after checking my resume. so just in 5 mins he just stopped looked disappointed which really broke my confidence and I couldn't answer his next question properly. If they didn't think that my past experience aligns with what they are looking for, they souldn't have called me. I spent alot of time for the 1st test, the functional test and even for the interview. Its just really tiring when you are not taken seriously during the interview. I hope this helps someone to be prepared mentally if you are going for an interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at eGain (Independence, MO)
Interview
I received an email from a recruiter asking me to apply. Had a very short conversation with her, verifying that my experience met the JD requirements, then she submitted my resume to the HM.
I was selected for the next phase solely off my resume then sent a 58 min assessment as a next step. She asked me to complete the assessment that day and as fast as possible. The need of timely completion was reiterated several times even though I told her I was home sick that day.
When I looked at the assessment test, I declined and withdrew from being considered. If you are good at algebra, word problems, patterns, or math in general, you will be fine , but the assessment is not relevant at all to the position or your experience, skill sets as a CSM.
For me, I am not actively looking, and since there was no talk of the product, position, culture, or anything that would create excitement about role , taking an hour long assessment while sick, wasn’t worth it for me personally.
