Interview process was pretty messed up on their schedules. First round, I was told to have a coding exercise interview but it wasn't. I interviewed a QA member who just went over how their automation framework worked, how they use drobotic framework for testing and it required little codings. Next round my interviewer attempted to ask me coding some logic/ algorithm problem which I would do better if I would just get out of college. These are things I rarely do in my long career as a software test engineer and so I failed them. As interviewer myself for the same position in my past careers, for test automation roles, my approach was to rather ask about testing techniques, automation approaches and test analytic skills. Unfortunately for me, my interviewer had different philosophy. He didn't even explain well when I asked for help to understand it better.
