Why should we hire you ?
Large emphasis on practical classroom abilities to instruct a room full of students with various learning and social-emotional needs- the principal - who interviewed me & ultimately hired me after having after observing a practicum lesson I taught - was very realistic and honest about the difficulties and challenges that ALL teachers face in their own ways when developing their classroom management abilities. He simply stated that he wanted to ensure I was able to lead and instruct a class by seeing me do a practicum lesson first hand- the experience was NOT difficult, he and the classroom teacher were both present in the room the entire time. Looking back, I think of this as a positive interaction as he was genuine and honest with me, when I'm sure many tired administrators are at a point where they are happy to just take anyone who is physically able and willing to do the job and show up (no blame or shame intended).
