Interview
I applied early July for this position through the company website. I heard about this position through word of mouth as I know an employer who works in their Fremont, CA office. I was approached by a person within the company little over a month later asking to set up a phone interview with one of the co-founders and two other engineers. The interview lasted almost two hours and it was extremely detailed and technical. Questions ranged from a wide variety of topics right from OSI model, L2 to L4 related questions, Security (WPA, WEP and 802.11i), Routing Protocols (OSPF and RIP) and few questions on Linux CLI. They barely discussed anything from my resume or my previous experience. I found that a little surprising given there wasn't going to be any on-site interview either. But I felt like I did quite well overall. The co-founder at the end said that they'd get back to me in 2 weeks. They didn't get back to me for over 4 weeks and by then I had already interview with another company and got an offer from them as well. It all turned out well in the end for me.

Linux CLI as that was my achilles heel going into it. I have limited knowledge of it and wasn't able to answer few of the questions, but thanks to them I had prepared well for it in the following interview where I got a job offer. Everything happens for a reason, as they say! :-)

A written test along with group discussion was the first round proceeded with HR round after. I attended intervew for freshers and they conducted the interview so friendly. They gave opportunity for everyone to express.
