The interview process consisted of five rounds in total, and here's a detailed breakdown of each:
Round 1: Aptitude Test
The first round was a straightforward aptitude test with 45 questions in 45 minutes. The questions were simple and tested basic logical reasoning, quantitative ability, and verbal skills. A decent grasp of fundamentals is enough to clear this round.
Round 2: Technical Group Discussion (GD 1)
This was a unique and engaging group discussion round with a technical twist. Initially, the interviewer posed technical questions, and any candidate who knew the answer could raise their hand and respond. After the first couple of questions, the format shifted - the interviewer began directing individual questions to each participant.
Since I belonged to the Computer cluster, the questions were focused on C programming, Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), Operating Systems (OS), and Computer Networks.
Round 3: Technical Group Discussion (GD 2) – Advanced
This round followed the same format as the previous GD, but with more in-depth technical questions. A strong understanding of core subjects and the ability to explain concepts clearly was essential here.
Round 4: Technical Interview
The questions in this round were based on the same core subjects as the GD rounds. Additionally, the interviewer asked HR-oriented questions such as willingness to relocate, Understanding of the employment agreement, Family background, Adaptability to a new environment.
This round assessed both technical competence and personal alignment with the company’s expectations.
Round 5: HR Interview
The final round was a standard HR interview, focusing on my personality, goals, communication skills, and overall cultural fit.
