The coding question is more of a math problem than an embedded linux problem and too long for short interview. It has very little or no application in embedded linux. This is a red flag to me because for a few reasons. One is the interviewer is not a very experienced embedded linux engineer. Another is nobody inside the company reviews the questions to make sure they are embedded linux questions. Another is top engineers would not work there. I just lost my interest after this interview.

During the written test HR check your aptitude paper and if you writing the ans correctly , then they put the technical written paper in front of you. In technical written paper there is 3 program to write here i'm sharing the the program . 1) ) Given hex number 0x1234 passed as parameter to function you have write the function that will reverse the bit of the number and return that reversed number 0x2C48 ? 2) Write function to calculate velocity and acceleration given the input parameter speed and that function is called for every 10mS ? 3) Given the 2 array from the one array index you have to access the value of another array this question is stupid question don't know why they asked ?
Aptitude : Prepare following topic 1) problems on Train , Time and work , age, series (Alphabetical) , boat and stream , number , ratio. Some question on logical reasoning , English question was very easy after above question you have write the essay. You should get 70% marks in each section to qualify for technical written paper round.
Design a circular queue. Two puzzles were asked and then one more question.
