Q: Tell me about yourself
All questions were standard and fair for the role that I applied to. I can't recall a curve ball question, or question that I thought was impertinent.
Give one example where you failed miserably and how did you overcome it?
Something like: if a company had 4 million shares outstanding and you owned 100,000, then the company issued another 2 million shares, what is your ownership % now.
The phone interview questions were quite typical and the in-person interview questions turned to what-would-you-do-in-this-scenario type of questions. The interviews went around the table asking questions of me and it felt more or less conversational. This seemed to be a newly created position and there was some concern as to whether the new employee would be interested in traveling through the designated area and not having a home-base or office.
