Esl Teacher Interview Questions
"English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers are involved instructors who enable children from different backgrounds to learn English for use in everyday life. In an interview, expect to answer questions about your teaching style, philosophy towards ESL, and ability to connect with students on a personal level. It's helpful to know that nearly all schools require some level of ESL certification and public institutions also require teaching credentials."

What is your experience with teaching ESL students?
They wanted to know your internet speed, your degrees, experience and certifications. If you plan to travel a lot or if you can have regular/consistent attendance (vacations allowed within reason). They explained their rules and the terms of the contract. They explained their expectations of your appearance, do's and dont's during class, and what type of materials you should need and what your classroom will look like. Also, what type of clothing to wear during class. Then they showed me the online platform, next I was asked to teach a mock class (to one of their staff), in which she gave me good feedback to prepare for a trial class with a real student. The last interview was teaching a real student and being reviewed by their staff during and afterward.
