The issue was the interview did not seem to want to be doing their job. They did not ask me a question, like how does your previous experience relate to the position you are applying for. Why are you looking for a job are common questions, but there was nothing like this.
What do you understand about the role ?
Manager questions were more personal, about me, my hobies, my personality. Higher management were skills based, about my CV, previous experiences and scenarios. E.g. "What would you do if a client pushed back for a large change at the last minute before the event"
Nothing too difficult, she just asked about my previous work experience, availability, whether i had reliable transportation or not, and then just 4 or 5 "what would you do if..." questions.
What is your experience/are you comfortable directing groups of people or speaking in front of large groups of people to give instructions?
What made you decide to move to a new city?
What is your experience in A/V
would you get to move up and pay
How do you handle confrontations or people who are difficult to deal with?
Would you consider yourself a "foodie?" Do you stop by sampling booths when you are shopping? Do you have an outgoing personality? Do you enjoy talking with new people?
