The final interview with the CEO felt more like an interrogation than a discussion. For 1.5 hours, I was grilled on every job I’d held, every career decision I’d made, and even my educational choices—as if I needed to justify my entire professional and academic history. The experience was exhausting and demeaning, leaving me with the impression that the company’s leadership was more interested in scrutinizing my past than in assessing my fit for the role.
The interview was conversational and easy-going, however direct and focused. It was clear this is the year of growth and development and they are truly seeking the right people to take them further which will allow the COO and CEO to focus on other critical matters.
