They asked about my professional background
The talent coordinator asked several questions about my background. But it was mostly very high level stuff as he didn't really have an understanding (which he confessed to on the call) of database technologies.
To be candid, my level of interviewing is about zero (ie-i haven't done a lot of them) so take my comments in stride-------- A lot of questions were in regard to how you would handle something, both technically and behaviorally. It was a technical position but when I lightly spoke about my technical skills (ie - programming) I was told that "that is not expected" so I did not elaborate but when I had my debrief I was told that someone with more technical experience was hired, so a bit confusing on that front but overall this particular department was great, people were really genuine and nice, great experience in general.
If a parent record was accidentally deleted without removing the child records, what query could you use to determine what records were "orphaned".
They asked me to describe a situation in which I needed to problem solve for a dilemma.
Be ready for a lot of sarcastic comments like "I dont want to discourage you". They haven't bee able to fill a open requirement for over 6 months because their interview style is offensive and inappropriate.
I was given a series of acronyms and asked to give their full name and a definition.
