This initial discussion provided valuable insights into the company's culture and expectations. Subsequently, I had a Zoom call with the hiring manager, where the focus was on a specific project slated to be completed within three months. He was mostly interested in my proficiency in Figma and my ability to finish this project quickly. Following this, a Zoom call with a designer offered me the opportunity to delve deeper into the creative aspects of the role and understand the collaborative dynamics within the team. The highlight of the process was the portfolio presentation, where I had the privilege to showcase my work to a panel of stakeholders. Lastly, a meeting with the product manager and hiring manager where I learned more about the role and once again questions and apprehension on how fast I would be able to onboard and finish this major project in 3 months.
