Overall, the interview with the Engineering Manager went well as the interview was more conversational about the challenges he is facing, and sharing our thoughts on how to solve those challenges. I received no feedback that he could not make the call until an hour after the scheduled call. We rescheduled the interview, and even on the rescheduled call, he was 10 minutes late. His excuse for not making the first call due to a power outage is lame when he could have joined the call via cell phone. More excuses about joining late on this call. I knew by then that I was wasting my time with this person as he was going through the motions to pick my brain to maybe get new ideas like using Apache Superset for BI needs instead of spending money on commercial BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
