No interview is needed but a lot of self-work and proposals are needed. Prepare your own portfolio which requires a lot of work, compile all your work together to showcase for a better chance.

Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Freelancer interview process was one of the most difficult interview processes I have ever been on. It is also very time consuming as well. I definitely won’t recommend it to anyone.
