General Manager Interview Questions
"Employers hiring general managers are looking for decisive leaders with previous management experience to oversee a department or division in the company. In an interview, be ready to discuss your ability to lead lower-level managers and implement improvements within the business. General managers may join the company directly through management, so interviewers will want candidates who are capable of forming strong relationships with established employees."

What you do differently as a manager?
None of their questions pertained to their business methods, but rather how you handle adversity in the past. Simplistic questions I would have expected from Wal-Mart.
Nothing too difficult or unexpected question.

What does customer service mean to you?
What is your biggest strength?
What is your management style?
Describe a time when you had several different aspects of the job to manage, with deadlines. How did you handle it?
I found it refreshing that the 1st thing I was asked wasn't about my qualifications ( employers can always get that from the resume, but then they always drill you on it anyway) However; in this instance they asked me what I hoped to get from an employment / management opportunity with a company. I mean they sincerely asked like they were really trying to find people who were like-minded and would be good fit. I appreciated that. I initially put their offer on the back burner ( as I have several other offers to consider at this time) but the more I research the Co. & the culture , the more I think I may re-visit working with them.
