My first step would be to make time to talk to that tutor and let them know that there are things that they are doing that I am not comfortable with. Next I'll give them a chance to explain to see if there are circumstances that they dealing with outside of work that are making the job difficult. I'll find a way to work with them to improve. If there's no improvement I'll discuss it with my supervisor
