Case 1A: Describe the current performance management framework in your organization Case 1B: Imagine you are joining a company with the following structure and challenges. Case 1C: You’ve been asked to lead the budgeting process for HR across all departments. (refer to Org Chart from previous Case 1B) Case 2: What specific rituals or programs or interventions have you built or led to improve team engagement or morale? How did you know they worked? Case 3: You’re told to cut HR costs by 20%. Which programs or policies do you reduce or remove, and why?
Are you interested in relocating to San Diego for employment? Do you have any union avoidance or working in CA with a large union experience? What is the size of the largest team that you have had reporting directly to you i.e. direct reports? What is the size of the largest client group that you served directly? To clarify have you ever worked in CA or done union avoidance in CA? We have some very unique state and county laws!
It was a conversational interview with no specific structured questions.
Questions were a mix of informal and behavioral.
As I said above, no real difficult questions. They were clearly trying to determine if I fit their culture so the work I did ahead of time to talk to people who worked there was helpful.
