You must prove your skills, specifically Excel. There can be testing and you must pass in order to be considered qualified for the role at hand. This is a great way to determine your skill level and qualifications for the role in which you are interviewing. 3 - 4 behavioural, 1-2 situational for every interview, some questions are repeated. 1) tell me a time when you stepped up to deliver excellent results 2) tell me a time when you thought there was a better way of doings things and you went ahead to improve either an existing idea or process to make things better (process improvement) situational questions are very vague, hard to answer if they dont give some context or examples.

The manager asked those typical questions you could think of in a behavioral interview such as "Tell me your greatest achievement" or something like "Tell me a conflict you had in your life and how you dealt with it.". The difficult part is that the manager asked for a very specified example and the details on how you did it, very detailed that you will have to take time to recall it.
