Fairly Typical Process. Met with their internal Recruiter. Met with a Director. Met with the manager who would be my boss.
Biggest Red Flag:
The online job posting said it was remote. When I interviewed, each person besides the recruiter was surprised I would not be working in office. (I am states away.) They said they could consider a hybrid position, but they wanted a person in office. Neither of the people I interviewed with worked in said office and were remote.
Next oddity:
The director specifically said that it is a "faith-based" company. I found that odd since they were not selling a religious product, and I would not have been comfortable with that. I am not religious, and I recognize that they were trying to ask me if I was, without directly asking it. I simply navigated around the conversation.
After each interview, I reached out via email to thank them. I was told they'd be in touch within 2 to 3 days. I didn't chase them down because I was on the fence about the company being a good fit.
I was entirely ghosted and frankly forgot about the job until 3 weeks later when I received a generic email telling me I did not get the job.
