I got a call from the HR and within two days my first interview was scheduled. The interview went very well (questions related to my previous work were asked), and I got a confirmation that I am selected, but salary can't be provided as expected. I asked if it could be negotiated, as before the start of interview process itself, I confirmed my expectations. So, some senior manager took my interview again. After that, I took follow up for at least 2 months, every time I was told that your profile is on hold, it is 80% done, just some formalities are left, and after 2 months, when I asked again, I was told that the position is closed internally.
