Got contacted by a recruiter or HR person, can't recall. Anyways, it was for an Associate SDE position, pretty entry level. There was only 1 interview and I was invited for on-site 1:1.
It was scheduled at 3pm, the interviewer didn't come until 3:30pm. Yes, I understand there's meetings, and everyone is busy, but please, honor the interview time, first red flag for me.
Interview begins, I get asked some really trivial questions that didn't measure aptitude, like "advantages of ASP.Net for front-end over other frameworks". This is stuff you research about, hell you could do a quick Google search for this. For an entry level position, focus on the projects and experience on the resume besides glancing over it. Second red flag for me. Then three technical exercises, first a javascript DOM whiteboard coding problem, then a C# problem, and finally SQL queries. Fair enough on those.
The only thing I got from this interview was that I for one wouldn't want to work here. It felt like a dead one too, some you learn from, or at least make an impression. But this company, nah.
