A recruiter contacted me and said she would push my resume to their HR Team and I would hear back from her by the end of that week. 2 weeks later I was bombarded with emails from a direct employee of iSpotTv. He asked if I would prefer AM or PM time for the interview. I chose AM and was once again bombarded with 10+ calendar invites with various people on each one. I was under the impression that my interview would be singular during the AM. But, with so many email calendar invites I wasn’t clear on what was what. I had a total of 3 interviews lasting from early AM to mid afternoon PM with a total of 6-7 people, in groups of 2-3 at a time, totaling to 3.5 hours. It was weird that I was asked AM or PM when they should’ve just told me it would be both and wasn’t an option for me to choose. Every single person I spoke with had major difficulties trying to describe the position to me. I don’t think they really knew what they were hiring for or needed. It was extremely disorganized and one person from each of the groups would leave 5 minutes into the interview for a DR’s appointment etc. They would refer to HR while interviewing me, like it was preexisting. How funny it was to learn that they’ve been in business for 12+ years and had just hired their very first HR person just a few days prior. That became blatantly obvious when I joined the final interview and thought I was speaking with upper level management. To my surprise it wasn’t an employee at all but my direct competition. They had goofed and accidentally sent us the same meeting code. It was incredibly awkward waiting for the actual employee to correct this. Mistakes happen, but this company is seriously disorganized and chaotic. I am relieved I didn’t hear back because their reviews are horrendous.
