Multiple 45-60 minute interviews with different individuals from throughout indie. A mix of technical and non-technical discussions although it's never clear whether you're walking into a technical interview or not and there is no guidance beforehand to prepare. Gets fairly monotonous and draining when you're on interview number 8 and you've been telling everyone individually about your experience and work history - it's not clear why all of these interviews couldn't be combined into one or two hours with multiple employees in a group call.
The company seems fairly chaotic ("chaotic" was a word used by an indie staffer, not me) without a coherent focus. A lack of communication within the company was apparent as I was originally interviewed for one role and before being passed on to another within another department, however this wasn't made clear to me at all and I ended up having another technical interview which was sold to me as just a meet and greet - all a bit messy.
After I'd been through 8 individual interviews with indie staff over the course of 4-6 weeks, I never heard back from them for almost a month. I ultimately had to email them directly just to get my feedback and to hear that I was ultimately not being offered a job. Doesn't leave a great impression after giving up 8 hours of my time for interviews.
