1st interview with HR Mgr. interview was great. Next interview was with Sales Mgr. was not good. Very stiff to speak with and he focused on his former background and how disappointed he was when job was phased out. Maybe he should have focused on current role instead? 3rd interview was w/ DOS & I asked how they plan on growing the company? He response, making sure sales ppl make 75 calls a day. Really? The DOS's plan to grow company, is to make X number of calls a day? Red Flag!!! Final interview, had to do a role play and wound up presenting to 2 blank Zoom screens. When was the last time you did a sales presentation to a wall? This was the final opportunity to land a job and it came down to this? During my presentation & afterwards, I basically had no response from either person (one person’s sound was not working and it is a tech company) & they barely answered any questions along with no feedback. Been in hotel sales for years and I had to do a role play to get the job? Unbelievable!!! I guess if I would have gotten the job, I would have a script of questions to ask during sales calls like a robot? Worst part after spending all this time interviewing, there was no response on job status after reaching out 2x to the HR mgr. Never received a rejection email either.
