I had an initial call with a recruiter, where they briefed me about the position, company and the role. A day later I received an initial online assessment, which were 30 MCQ based questions. You have to get a minimum 80% score to move forward. After clearing this test, a technical interview was scheduled. The interview took around 1 hour. I was able to answer all the questions that the interviewer had asked, except one. I felt like I aced the round. I waited around 2 weeks after the interview but did not receive any communication from the company. Upon following up, the recruiter informed me that the interviewer "forgot" to submit my feedback, and that they have asked them to submit it asap. They told me that they will get back to me very soon. Again I waited a week but the recruitment team didn't get back. After following up again, they shared the interview feedback with me and informed that they didn't move forward with me. I was shocked, and saw right away that the feedback was incorrect. It stated some very obviously incorrect things, like my years of experience, technologies e.t.c. It seemed like either the interviewer did not remember our interview at all and gave a random feedback to cover up, or gave an incorrect feedback on purpose. I conveyed this to the recruiter, along with my surprise as my interview had gone exceptionally well. However I was informed that all they can do is schedule another interview for me. I was reluctant as it wasn't easy to take out the time again with all the other ongoing interviews. However I told them I'm willing to give it another chance, and was told that they will reach out to me on Monday to discuss the details and schedule the interview. However, it has been 3 weeks since and no one from the company has reached out again. Clearly the people at this company are unprofessional and incompetent. You will be better off spending your time and effort in interviewing with other, worthy companies.
