International Development Intern Interview Questions

5,259 international development intern interview questions shared by candidates

There weren’t difficult questions. They asked me some routine questions at first (introduce yourself, tell me about your working experience), then if I had seen their website. There was the usual question “Why Japan?” With some more Japan-related follow ups (why do you want to work in Japan? Do you plan to back to your country? What made you interested in Japan?). Aside this, I was asked some more “difficult” questions. “What do you want to do as a teacher?” “What do you think it’s the most important quality for a teacher and why?” “Why do you want to teach?” Overall, I find this job interview to be extremely easy. The requirements on the job description are insane, but you do not need all of them. If you speak English decently you will most likely get the job as long as you show some degree of interest.
