They asked me if I had much experience with technical drawing for tech packs. I did not at the time—was new to fashion design—so they asked me take one week to produce a series of drawings of a garment I'd made to demonstrate my abilities. By the time I had finished the drawings they had assigned, the position was filled. They actually reached out to tell me I didn't get the job, which was unexpected but much appreciated.
