How does Workday Financial compare to Oracle Fusion. This was for the presentation. My knowledge of Workday was only the 40+ hours I put in learning about it prior to the presentation. I knew nothing about Oracle Fusion. And the scenario they gave me gave no indication this was supposed to be a competitive situation. I suggested we table this for another call. Turns out this question was what the RSD told me was the major reason I was not getting the job. I asked him what he would have said and he said that WD was built after Sarbanes Oxyley and was therefore built with it in mind. (What the heck!) Also, that it was built with a configure to code philosophy. (There was no reason I would have know this was a differentiator with Oracle. In fact, at one point of the presentation I mentioned this). Who ever does this presentation, don't put in any where's near the number of hours preparing that I did. Stay high level.
