First round: General questions with very transparent communication. Second round: A 1-hour session with technical questions focused on different cases and appropriate approaches to each situation. In the last ten minutes, the interviewer revealed that they were searching for a specific profile, which did not match the job description at all. This left me confused, so after the interview, I reread the job advertisement, thinking I might have misunderstood it. It turned out that the hiring manager hadn’t properly aligned the job advertisement with the department's actual needs.
