I was called by a recruiter. Appointment was scheduled. I went in, filled out paperwork, took a Fair Housing test which I passed and also did some Safety tests. There weren't a lot of interview questions. It was just established that I had experience. I also had to give 3 references. They don't place you until they've talked to at least 3 references and run the background check.
What present skills do you have that are transferable to the oil and gas lease administration line of work?

Nothing really difficult or unexpected, just basic experience review and relevance questions.
There was nothing unexpected.
They asked me to explain a time when I had a complex problem when I had to analyze the root cause. I had to explain the steps I went through to get to the root cause and the outcome of the problem.
