Leasing Consultant Interview Questions
"Leasing consultants work with property management companies to manage the sales and leasing activities of their residencies, such as filling vacancies, collecting monthly dues, overseeing maintenance, and handling tenant relations. Employers are looking for candidates with strong negotiation, customer service, and communication skills. In preparation for an interview, come ready to discuss the sales process and provide an example of past sales that you've made. As a huge part of the job depends on your ability interact with tenants, you may be asked to role play a situation with a frustrated resident."

Asked for biggest strengths and weaknesses
What would you consider your two greatest strengths?
This initial interview used rather generic type questions such as "tell me why you are the best candidate for this position". The questions were not terribly difficult. What I found as difficult was the 30 second timer. I seem to focus more on the timer than on developing the answer to the question. Also, my answers seem to always take less time than the time allowed to answer. Typically, an interview is a 2-way communication event. This interview was a 1-way event and felt un-natural.
