I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at loanDepot (Southfield, MI) in Dec 2016
Interview
Very simple and streamlined. Come in for one interview and talk with a manager and the branch manager about previous experience in a very relaxed setting. They typically will only hire experience and licensed loan officers (at least at the Southfield, MI branch) because they don't have a training program at this location.
