      SELECT Senior Account Manager Interview

      Mar 28, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Foothill Ranch, CA
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at loanDepot (Foothill Ranch, CA) in Dec 2016

      Interview

1st interview - three people. easy questions 2nd interview - group interview of about 15. Obviously done to make you nervous since you'll be overheard on the phone in the real work scenario. Pretty standard and easy interview if you did your homework on the company and position. However, 12 out of 15 applicants were clearly unqualified which makes me think that HR is very bad at screening people. They should have at least been more selective during the phone process and just limited it to one interview. It was a clear waste of time for many people since they interviewed 150 people and only accepted 16.
