Machine Learning Interview Questions

"To get a job in machine learning, you must have the programming and mathematical knowledge to create artificial intelligence that is capable of learning new tasks without being explicitly coded. In an interview you may be asked about your experience with pertinent coding languages such as Java and C++ as well as with writing algorithms. The interview will be comprised mainly of technical questions that test your knowledge of the fundamental concepts of machine learning such as data mining and signal processing."

A classic leetcode question about a knight which needs to get from point A to point B (a DFS \ BFS search). I managed to describe the solution verbally, but the interviewers wanted a working code implementation without any option to google for syntax etc or using IDE. Just write code on notepad. I am still not sure whether he really expected it to work.

Round 1: Just questions about my background Round 2: Two leetcode-style questions. Don't remember the first, second one was merging an array of linked lists into one sorted linked list. Round 3: A lot of machine learning conceptual questions, especially about neural networks, when I'd use them and how I'd troubleshoot in different situations. Round 4: Reading through a paper. Nothing was exceptionally difficult, but it was tough to prep with how unorganized everything was.
