I would say the situational questions are most difficult as it will tell what kind of a leader/manager you are and how you react to different type of scenarios. It will also pick your brain to be more intuitive and imaginative.

The IT director gave me a very open ended question on a theoretical customer issue and asked the steps I would go through to solve/refine the issue and to propose two solutions to fix the issue.
