I was asked in a few different ways "how I'd work with extremely difficult personalities", in such a way that I realized there must have been some intense cultural issues with some middle managers that I would have to work with. It was unexpected that several people who interviewed me asked me the same question.
How do you feel about working for an organization that is still trying to define itself?
The asked a lot of questions related to the job, for instance what makes you think you'll be able to do this? Have you had to manage this type of work in the past? What is your experience with budgets?
Name one weakness and how you have worked to overcome it.
The difficult part wasn't so much the in-person interview but rather the request to put together an entire marketing plan to present during the interview. This took several hours to compile, and I got very little feedback on the plan, nor any real feedback on why I wasn't selected for the role.
