- Read a text file and parse and custom sort the CSV like data into given format. - Create DB tables for given data, and write an express app to support, CRUD operations on the tables. They are checking if you can adhere to the given spec and write APIs following the resource based API design with error handling and consistent response objects. - Write and API which fetches data from a public API and does some pre-processing on the data, caches it in the DB efficiently and returns the cached data if source does not given expected data. Here focus is on the DB schema and caching and efficiently calling the 3rd party API with proper error handling. Also collect stats/metrics about success /failure of API calls.
