The interview consisted of three rounds: an aptitude test, a phone interview, and a Zoom interview. If you know the fundamentals of Computer Science, you shouldn't have a problem. The interview process was also pretty quick; it took me a little under two weeks to get through that process, and regarding the interview portion of the recruitment process, I do not have any complaints. I finished interviewing in mid-December, and I was told I could anticipate a start date for our cohort to be in mid-January. This is where I started to have a bad experience with Wiley Edge.
The cohort start date kept coming closer, and no one reached out to me about anything, so I sent an email to ask if anything was needed of me before the cohort began. My recruiter responded by telling me the client demand was down, so the cohort was being delayed (I wonder when they planned on telling me this if I hadn't inquired myself). Then, I didn't hear anything for a little over two weeks, so I found an excuse to send another email to get some kind of status update on the upcoming cohort, I'm told they have word on a possible opening; the cohort will run towards the middle/end of February, and they will keep me updated. I wait two more weeks and hear nothing, so I send another email to ask about the status of the cohort and am told they are finalizing a date, and now I should expect the beginning to middle of March for a start date. Now, near the end of February, I still haven't heard anything about the beginning of the March cohort, so I send another email. In this email, I ask if there is any feedback that Wiley Edge has for me since I have been done interviewing for three months but still haven't been accepted into a cohort, I'm told that there isn't any feedback for me and I'm seen as a strong candidate they just haven't run any American cohorts this year. Then, it's added that they are confident they will run a class in March and that they will know more going into next week. A little under three weeks pass, and I hear nothing, so I send another email asking for an update, I'm told they can't guarantee any cohort will begin in the coming months, and they will keep me updated. It's now the beginning of April, and I haven't heard anything about an upcoming cohort.
I mainly wish the Communication was better and that my recruiter didn't string me along with start dates for three months before being transparent about the situation.
P.S. From what I gathered online cohorts are being run in Canada, the UK, India, just not in the US.
