Recruiter call went great as did manager call. The rounds went pretty well, with a few areas I wish I could have performed better. The team was all very nice and enjoyable to get to know. After finishing, I was told I didn’t get it because they had already earmarked the role for someone else and wanted validation, but still wanted me to join in another role. I expressed my interest but while it was stated they wanted me for the role, they had me reapply but not reinterview. 2-3 months later, I was told it went to someone else. The interviews were good, but the process needs major improvement as does expectation setting.
