Why do you want to work in hospice?
I don't remember any out if the ordinary questions, was very straight forward
Are you ok with traveling?
Questions geared towards my knowledge about long term care, caring for a geriatric population, how I would deal with conflicts. In general trying get to know me, how much I knew about the area I would be working in. I do not recall any surprising questions or difficult to answer questions at the time. Most of the questions were straight forward
They asked how long I had been a nurse? Not really an interview just a lot of Chuck talking
Tell us about a situation in which you used clinical guidelines to guide your nursing practice
Walk me through a situation where you had a difficult patient or family in how you handled it
They asked questions wanting to know if I have ever worked with patients who have diabetic ulcers, wound vacs, NG tubes, etc. They also wanted to know if I was okay driving to patients homes.
