Office Assistant Interview Questions
"Office assistants serve both employees and customers by supporting operations, troubleshooting, and maintaining supplies. During an interview, employers may ask about your interest in their industry, competence in word-processing programs, and your personal skills that you can bring to the company. In addition, be prepared to talk about how you work under stress or handle conflict within the work environment. To ace your interview, come with an enthusiastic attitude with a real deal desire to help others."

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Why are you interested in this particular job
How would your friends describe you?
Asking if I can do photo copying and other office clerical work.
What was your experience? Can you do this and that? Are you willing to do this and that?
My employees probably will not like you so how do you plan to deal with that?
None asked.
What was the most difficult situation I previous encountered and was able to resolve at a previous job?
A lot of the questions related to situational examples - tell me about a time when you had to use judgement in a difficult job situation. Tell me about the most difficult person you've ever had to work with, and how you handled the difficulty. Tell me about a time when you were asked to do something you didn't agree with... etc. I didn't get the impression anyone was trying to play good cop/bad cop or "gotcha" but in such a large organization, I'm sure the interview experiences vary widely.
