For example, I was asked how I would handle writing copy for in-store catalogues given that I 'had no experience outside digital'. I pointed out that I actually had five years of experience with a mail order company, for whom I wrote at least two 70-page catalogues per year, one of which won an industry award.

Any behavioral questions, such as "Tell me about a time when you had to deal with an upset customer and how did you handle it?". Even though this position will never deal with customers.
Tell me an instance where you were faced with ambiguity and how you solved the problem.
Some unexpected questions were - Tell me a time when you did something without consent from your manager. Tell me a time when you had an idea to do something that your manager said no to.
