These included whether I had other job offers (during the initial phone call), detailed questions about my working hours, benefits, and salary breakdowns at previous companies, and even personal questions such as whether I was getting married soon and the exact date I resigned from my last role — despite already providing a clear start date. This level of questioning felt unnecessarily invasive and raised concerns about the company’s professional boundaries and overall management culture.
