It's important to articulate how your skillsets are directly applicable to the role, especially highlighting any experience managing individuals in an official capacity. Additionally, the primary HR contact, at least the one I spoke to, had years of experience working with the organization but was in a consulting capacity. This aspect is worth considering as you apply, as it could impact the timeline of your application process.
