The questions were mostly scientific but were geared towards clarification of my thesis work. The most important questions were describing my next steps as a scientist and how the EPA, and specifically the postdoctoral fellowship, would fit into my career goals.

Based on the collaborations I would bring in, the goals of the School etc I never experienced such a weird set of 'research' interview questions.
